Every call deserves an answer.
DentiRelay is a proposed AI-assisted call service for dental practices. It is being designed to help front-desk teams handle routine enquiries, capture new-patient details and route urgent calls to the right person. The service is not live yet.
For practices interested in testing an early-stage prototype. Business contact details only.

The front-desk gap
Your team cannot answer two patients at once.
Calls arrive while staff are checking patients in, taking payments and supporting clinicians. DentiRelay is being designed to take on the repeatable first step, so the person in front of them can get full attention.
- 01
A call arrives
A new patient rings while the team is already occupied.
- 02
Voicemail fills
The caller leaves limited information — or simply tries elsewhere.
- 03
The proposed DentiRelay step
Routine questions would be handled and the right details passed to the team.
Proposed workflow
From ringing phone to a useful next step.
How the service is intended to work once it is built. None of these steps are live today.
- 01
Answer naturally
A practice-aligned voice assistant would greet the caller and identify the reason for the call.
- 02
Capture context
Contact details, preferred appointment times and relevant non-clinical information would be structured for the team to review.
- 03
Route to the right person
Routine enquiries would move forward, while urgent or sensitive situations would follow a human escalation pathway.
DentiRelay“I can help with that. Is this for a routine appointment, or are you in urgent pain?”
Caller“It’s a broken tooth. It happened this evening.”
- Intent
- Urgent enquiry
- Next step
- Escalate to on-call team
DentiRelay is designed for administrative workflows only. It would not diagnose conditions, give clinical advice or replace clinical judgement.
Proposed capabilities
What DentiRelay is being designed to do.
These capabilities are planned, not yet available. Each one is scoped to the administrative side of the front desk, with clear routes back to your people.
- New patients
Capture enquiries while interest is high.
Would collect what the team needs for a confident follow-up, including when the practice is closed.
- Escalation
Humans decide what is urgent.
Practices would define when calls are transferred or flagged for immediate attention.
- After hours
A proposed first response outside opening hours.
Intended to give callers a clear next step when the practice is closed.
- Consistency
Answers your practice has approved.
Routine information would follow the practice’s own policies and wording.
- Summaries
Calls turned into action points.
Each call would produce a concise summary the front-desk team could act on.
Proposed first use cases
Planned to start with the calls creating the most friction.

Practical questions
Questions about the concept.
Is DentiRelay available today?
No. DentiRelay is a pre-launch concept and its call-handling service is not currently available. Nothing on this site is a live product. Practices interested in helping test an early-stage prototype can send a pilot enquiry; the form asks for business contact details only.
Would DentiRelay replace the receptionist?
No. The concept is designed to support busy teams with repetitive and after-hours calls, while keeping staff responsible for clinical, sensitive and complex situations.
Would it give clinical advice?
No. Clinical diagnosis and treatment recommendations would remain with qualified dental professionals. The workflow is intended to use approved language and clear escalation rules.
Would it work with our existing number?
The intended implementation uses call forwarding or telephony integration, subject to the practice’s provider and chosen technology stack.
What would happen to patient information?
Any live implementation would need to be configured around applicable privacy, security and healthcare-data requirements, with data handling documented before launch.
